These Terms and Conditions apply to all orders placed with The Gamekeepers Larder through our website, and to your use of www.thegamekeeperslarder.co.uk. By placing an order or using our website, you agree to these terms — so please take a moment to read them.

  1. Who We Are

The Gamekeepers Larder is a UK-based online butcher specialising in ethically sourced, wild British venison, delivered frozen to your door.

  1. Ordering From Us
  • All orders are subject to availability.
  • Orders are confirmed once payment has been received and you’ve received an order confirmation email from us.
  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order for any reason, including pricing errors, supply issues, or concerns over delivery conditions.
  1. Prices & Payment
  • All prices are listed in GBP and include VAT where applicable.
  • We accept major credit and debit cards through our secure payment gateway.
  • Once an order has been placed and paid for, we cannot amend the items included — please double-check before confirming.
  1. Delivery
  • We deliver frozen meat using insulated packaging and ice packs to keep your order cold during transit.
  • Delivery dates are selected at checkout, but may be subject to courier delays beyond our control (weather, strikes, etc).
  • You must ensure someone is available to receive the parcel on the day of delivery. We are not responsible for parcels left unattended if you have chosen a safe place.
  • If your order arrives defrosted or damaged, please contact us within 24 hours with photos so we can help.
  1. Frozen Products & Refreezing
  • Our products are shipped frozen and should be placed in a freezer immediately on arrival.
  • If your venison arrives partially thawed but still cold to the touch, it is safe to refreeze.
  • Please follow safe defrosting and cooking guidelines provided on our website or product packaging.
  1. Cancellations & Refunds
  • Due to the perishable nature of our products, we cannot accept returns unless the item is faulty or arrives damaged.
  • If you need to cancel an order, please contact us at least 48 hours before your chosen delivery date.
  • Any issues must be reported within 24 hours of delivery — we’ll always try our best to make it right.
  1. Allergens & Ingredients
  • Our venison is 100% wild and contains no added ingredients unless otherwise stated.
  • Please read product descriptions carefully for any additional marinades or mixed products.
  1. Website Use
  • All content on this site is owned by or licensed to The Gamekeepers Larder. You may not copy, reuse or republish any images or text without our permission.
  • We reserve the right to update these terms or make changes to the site at any time.
